Biography
Dean of research with publication of more than fifty papers in refereed journals about child health in Jordan and the region. Chairman ship of the department of pediatrics for three times Curriculum development and implementation of academic programs at the undergraduate and post graduate pediatric , infectious disease and infection control. Chairmanship of the National Immunization Technical Advisory Group and Chairmanship of the National Polio eradication committee with the Jordan Ministry of Health Member of the Decade of Vaccine working group with WHO Geneva and Member of the Immunization Practices Advisory Group , WHO Geneva. Member of PACE Adjunct Professor, Vanderbilt University, USA Goals include upgrading the professional and academic practice of medicine and pediatrics in Jordan and the region. I also am deeply interested in pursuing every possible measure to attain equity in child care and achieve the MDGs for our region through improved delivery of care at the therapeutic and preventive levels
